Finding a rehearsal dinner spot can be stressful.. G’s Kitchen & Cocktails took our stress away! We had an excellent experience for our party. From day one, communication was awesome with Amy. Her & her entire staff took care of us, extra shout out to Erica & Emily. Especially, when a drink was empty.. they were on it to get the next one for you. Having the set menu for our party was the way to go. Everyone’s meals were cooked perfectly for a party of 30. We can’t wait to go support them more in the future. I hope you do the same! 🙂

Quite a vibe-y place as far as the interior and music goes! Very comfortable seating. Desara was a fabulous and very attentive waitress. My dad always has issues with his steak undercooked but G's cooked his Ribeye beautifully to literal perfection! The parmesan encrusted walleye was absolutely delicious!! The spinach and artichoke dip was not the best... I wish there was more artichoke and spinach than cream. Other than that, great place to dine and hangout. Would come back!

Update to add: I was typing this while eating. I ended up ordering the creme brulee since I've never had it before and WOW. WOW WOW WOW delicious!

Great atmosphere, amazing staff. Celebrated my children's communion here and they were incredibly accommodating.

Also visited for dinner a week or so later and this place is aces! Fantastic experience with delicious eats.

Pictured is their Shrimp Cocktail. An ultra simple appetizer served perfectly.

Tuna Sashimi, seared and served with an amazing sauce and sliced jalapenos.

Thanks again Team for serving up an amazing experience for my family!

My husband and I went here for a little date night and we were so pleasantly surprised by this place! We went on their first day of the name change/menu change. Beautiful atmosphere, comfortable seats, and a good amount of TVs. Our waitress Bri was so attentive and lovely, she made the experience that much better. The cocktails were delicious, we got spinach dip for an app which was honestly one of the best we've had, and for dinner we had a filet (which was cooked to medium rare perfection) and the Parmesan crusted walleye (fresh and full of flavor). We ended it with creme brulee and that was super yummy. We can't wait to come back and make this a part of our regular rotations!!

Our family loved this restaurant. The decor and atmosphere really are just so beautiful and relaxing. We started with the lobster tacos and calamari that had a red sauce. We were 5 people and the 2 tacos we got between us and more than enough calamari as to not ruin our appetite for dinner and let me tell you were delicious! I had the filet with mashed potatoes and the filet was cooked perfectly and the zip sauce was perfect with it. I also had the lobster bisque which I have had at many other restaurants and this was the first time that it had so much lobster in it. So good! My husband had the salmon risotto and he said it was delicious. My son had the wagyu burger and said it was also very good. My daughter had the shrimp fettuccine and said it was very tasty. 2 of my teens had the Caesar salad and said it was the best dressing. We had so much dessert and everyone was better than the other. The French press coffee amazing! It was my birthday and when they found out they also brought out 2 more desserts. As I said before they were all so fresh and delicious. Must give this place a try. It's a family run business and you can tell they out their love in the food. The service was wonderful and our waitress was very knowledgeable of the food. They did say they are adding sushi to the menu soon as well. I added some other entrees as I love pics when I order food. Will definitely go again!

The food was absolutely delicious - started with ahi tuna sashimi appetizer and then the best gnocchi and walleye we have ever had. Our bartender/server was wonderful. Going back again very soon.

IF I COULD GIVE IT 10 STARS I WOULD!! My family and I are ecstatic to finally have a nice upscale restaurant near our home!! We usually travel to Troy for upscale dining but Mr. G’s is our favorite new spot!!! The service, the food, the atmosphere, cleanliness, EVERYTHING was top notch. It’s also nice to know I am supporting a nice, young local family as well and not some huge corporation. We will be returning, many times over again. We can’t wait to celebrate our daughter’s first communion with them next month. I cant say enough wonderful things about this place. Go check it out, you won’t regret it. Thank you Mr. G’s for an incredible night out.

My husband and I dined here for the first time this week. We thought the food was good but not fabulous. We will not be going back. For the price, there are many other spots that are better. I ordered my steak medium well and it came well done. I did not complain. I just ate it since I did not want to wait for another one. The drinks were the best part but were they worth $16 a piece No.
