DO NOT move here. They forgot to charge me for parking for 3 months so they double charged me for the next 3 months. I was paying 1300 dollars a month because of that. Elevators were out of service from March to June with no wheelchair accessible way to get into the apartments. Had to walk up 10 flights of stairs to get to my apartment. The property manager emailed the residents saying they would give everyone a $300 gift card after the elevators were fixed which we never received. The garage gate was open the entire time I lived there and my car was broken into and my belongings were stolen. When I informed the apartment of the breakin they simply add a note to my account that it had been broken into. Since then I saw at least 1 other car breakin in the span of 6 months. It’s way too expensive for the small apartments and management. Utilities are over $200 every month even though the apartments are tiny and we rarely used energy. Also they never respond to emails or calls. Genuinely never received a response from an email and I’ve sent at least five very important emails. When my roommate and I went to renew our lease in February they told us they had already leased it out to someone else with no notice. They offered us a 3 bedroom on the same floor and we had to find another roommate.
There are way better options in the area for the same price. This place cheats you out of your money and could care less about any of the residents. There is no guest parking unless you want to pay $35 dollars a day for a guest parking pass. My partner got towed after parking in the garage for less than 20 minutes to pick me up. I strongly recommend NEVER living here.

The WORST MANAGEMENT, (they write their own positive reviews beware)
- garage gate was broken for months meaning anyone can enter the apartment and walk to your front door no problem
-elevator was out for months as well and I lived on the highest floor
-staff is awful, they do not know anything and can't help you with an issue they always make it sound like they're not in charge but yet again no one is? they also hardly work, and are always out of the office when they should be there
-they will charge you insane amount of water and electricity fee's like 200+ monthly
-it's in a decent location but theres other places nearby too
-windows there are a joke, every room is going to be grey 24/7
-0 amenities even though they advertise a pool (I've never seen the pool be clean )and a gym
-Save your money the staff here is awful and so are the apartments

I don't recommend it. The gate is always open, and people's cars get broken into almost every day. The prices increased by 100 dollars for a small room. The apartments have little to no balcony. The washer and driers are always breaking. Like always. Our fridge broke down the first semester we moved in, and it took a couple of days for maintenance to replace it. There is glue coming out of the floor and maintenance basically said "it's just glue". Some toilets don't work properly. There is a roach issue, and there is no space for a pantry.

Do not lease here. The employees are so rude and disrespectful. Their website is so misleading. I can not believe they can get away with they way they treat us. They (Brianna) treated me one way before I signed my lease and she was a completely different person towards me after. I things were so bad I complained to here boss and she basically told me to deal with it. I cant believe they can treat people like this.
There is NO gym, the pool has only been available a few months out of the year I was there. Its more like a pond than a pool.

The review below is long but, spot on.

There are many places in the same area that offer a much better experience for the same price. I wish I would have been able to leave this review earlier but, they would absolutely retaliate.

Rent was cheap during covid, but went back up about 200-300 depending on what room you had. Rooms are EXTREMELY small, don’t trust the 0.5x zoom they take. Management was,,,alright, but don’t trust them to take care of any issues, for well over a year my AC was broken. Even when they “came in to fix the issue” at least a week later it would be busy again. Fine during the colder months but was always 75-82 degrees during the hotter months. Trash chute was backed up half the time which left the hallways smelling terribly. If you have a vehicle expect it to be broken into as the garage gate rarely worked or always looked like it was about to fall on your car driving out. Only benefit was during the winter storm we didn’t run out of power, water, or heat, so for west campus housing it was a benefit. Just. Don’t rent here. You can find much better places with the same location, cheap quality of build, and rent prices literally anywhere else. Oh and you WILL spend 100-150 for utilities. How? Who knows

Hate this place. Wish I could give it 0 stars. Cheaper rent than west campus is nice, but you're paying for elevators to be out of service for months on end, garage door open for probably a year and a half at this point, and a property manager who never responds to emails (that's just a TLDR). No understanding from the leasing managers. I second the other countless 1-star reviews.

20190918 Update
1.5 month after our last move-out date, my roommate and I haven't receive the remaining balance of our deposit. They cancelled my access to my online account on their website, which was the only way I get to see my account balance, and never sent any message regarding the result of my move-out assessment. I tried to send emails to several email addresses I am able to found and they all failed. My roommate called and even went to the leasing office in person, where she never got any useful help. BTW, as international students, we both paid over $1,000 respectively as deposit when we moved in last year.

A pretty good apartment considering its price. The room is nice. The staffs at the leasing office is helpful. The location is perfect. 5 minutes to target and 15 minutes to UT business school on foot. However, there’s no gym and I have never seen any one in the pool. And one of the elevator hasn’t been able to work for at least nine months. Overall, I highly recommend this apartment if location or price is one’s priority.

Pretty terrible experience here at The G. Only positives were proximity to campus, it was slightly cheaper than most west campus complexes, and the kindness of John, Alma, and maintenance. Other than that, the price doesn’t make up for the downsides. Just to list a few things: It constantly smelled like rotting garbage everywhere, there actually WAS garbage everywhere, the garage was stuck open half the time (definitely a safety issue in downtown Austin…another reviewer’s car got broken into with no compensation), and the part that pushed me over the edge was the fact that there was a huge increase in the last two utility bills for every resident. Got charged $264 for it…just water and electric bills. Seemed convenient for that to happen at the end of our leases, even though they insisted that they didn’t profit from it. I’m very glad to be moving out to a much better apartment for only a slight increase in price.
